Tony Hodgson

Tony leads the estate management team at Greene King, overseeing more than 3,000 pubs and associated assets. Known for a focus-oriented approach and strong leadership style, Tony is recognised for being organised, proactive, and detail-driven. With a clear emphasis on managing costs and building strategic, mutually beneficial partnerships, he works closely with both internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver long-term value.

Under Tony’s leadership, Greene King has made significant progress in rolling out EV charging infrastructure. The company currently operates 350 sites with live EV chargers, and by the end of 2025 this is expected to increase to 409 locations with 966 chargers serving 1,932 bays. The long-term goal is to reach 750 locations across the UK, strengthening Greene King’s role in supporting sustainable transport.

Alongside this role, Tony also serves as a Non-Executive Trustee at Home Start Suffolk, sharing his expertise and experience to give back to the local community.
