Stuart is highly experienced in asset finance & leasing with specific expertise in the green & sustainability sector. Stuart has 25+ years’ experience in the banking sector including 15 years as Global Co-Head of a market leading specialist asset finance business at a major European institution. In recent years Stuart has focused solely on the sustainability sector initially at a private finance house and then as the founder and director of Net Zero Asset Finance.
Net Zero Asset Finance is a specialist arranger of asset/debt finance across the sustainability sector with, as an FCA Appointed Representative of the AFS group, access to a wide panel of lenders. It has been recognised for its expertise in sustainability through various awards including most recently the Corporate Vision Small Business Awards for Best Net-Zero Financing Solutions company in 2024.
Stuart has extensive experience in sustainable financing including EVs & charging infrastructure, solar & battery storage, agriculture and waste to energy recycling. Stuart has specific expertise in financing EV charging infrastructure including closing one of the first UK debt financings and acting as consultant in relation to LEVI backed projects.
Stuart is a Chartered Accountant. Stuart is also currently a Trustee of a Guildford based sustainability charity with a specific role as pro-bono Strategic Advisor to its Sustainability Business Network which assists businesses across the Surrey region in transitioning to Net Zero.
