IfATE is an arm’s length body that works with employers to shape the skills system in England. Nick oversees all of IfATE’s activity across engineering and manufacturing, construction and the built environment and transport and logistics. This includes the development and approval of apprenticeships, T Levels and other technical qualifications. Nick has worked at IfATE since its inception on matters such as the application of essential digital skills and embedding the consideration of equity, diversity and inclusion in apprenticeships. Prior to this he has worked across various government departments and organisations such as the Civil Aviation Authority and the Football Association.
