Grace Carroll

Grace is an ex Civil Servant who headed the UK’s national policy for private EV charging at the Office for Zero Emission Vehicles between 2021 and 2024. In this role she designed and implemented national policies to improve availability and affordability of EV charging in homes, workplaces, and fleet sites. In post she oversaw landmark legislation requiring new buildings in England to have charge points and the publication of the UK’s first EV fire safety guidance for car parks. Before her work in EVs she developed a wealth of experience across various government departments working on EU-exit preparation, COVID-19 response, and device regulation.
