
Daniel Jaax
Director, Structured Finance MUFG
Daniel is part of MUFG’s European Structured Finance Office (ESFO) based in London and joined MUFG in 2016.
Daniel is responsible for ESFO’s Transport Transition Strategy and led on more than 15 transport transition deals for the bank over the last five years including 10 fleet transition and 5 EV charging deals.
His recent track record includes:
- EV Charging Charge Point Operator Financing: Ionity, Believ, Recharge, Powerdot, Gridserve;
- Zero Emission Bus and delivery van financings: Zenobe, Nobina, Hansea Koiviston;
- Telecom Infrastructure Financings: Vantage Towers, Phoenix Tower International.
Prior to joining MUFG, Daniel worked in KPMG’s Infrastructure M&A and Project Finance team in Frankfurt where he advised on more than 20 infrastructure and M&A projects in the transport and wider industrial sector.
Daniel holds a Master of Finance from Frankfurt School of Finance and Management.
