I am the lead for Fleet transformation activities within Royal Mail, my task is to turn one of the largest fleets in Europe (biggest in UK), which is primarily made up of ICE vehicles into a net zero fleet. I have now deployed over 5000 electric vehicles across over c.150 sites within the UK, this includes managing the whole process from vehicle purchasing, installation the infrastructure and of course building a maintenance service.   I have also introduced different fuelled types to our fleet with 80 CNG trucks and hundreds more now using HVO, a Hydrogen van, and have run several HGV electric trials. As well as the vehicle transformation my team and I are also focused on supporting our drivers to ensure we have the best culture when driving our fleet.
