Laura Waldron

Laura Waldron has been Programme Manager for Climate Change at Newport City Council since January 2023.  She manages a team who deliver EV charging projects across the City, with a particular focus on on-street and destination charging.  Her team also support with internal decarbonisation projects, including fleet transition, and city-wide projects such as business and community building decarbonisation and engagement with local residents and environmental groups.  Prior to working at NCC, Laura had a variety of roles across project and process management in the private and third sector, including supporting cyber security projects at the Institution for Engineering and Technology and managing new menu development at Whitbread Restaurants.
