Jacob Roberts

Jacob leads the Infrastructure Strategy team at Cenex, a non-profit sustainable transport research consultancy, founded by UK Government in 2005. In this role, he supports public and private sector organisations to reduce emissions from transport – something that Jacob now has over ten-years’ experience in. Jacob’s career began in local government, where he gained hands-on experience of local EV charging infrastructure delivery, before working for Energy Saving Trust on a number of public and privately funded projects aiming to reduce the environmental impact of road transport. More recently, Jacob worked at REA, where he co-ordinated an industry group, representing and advocating on behalf of the UK EV charging companies. In his current role at Cenex and throughout his career, Jacob is interested helping organisations to overcome barriers to transport decarbonisation and contribute towards the prevention of catastrophic climate change.
